ALERT: Do NOT park on the residential streets surrounding Historic 4th Ward Park!

These streets are now designated Residential Parking Only and you WILL be booted or towed. We don’t want your festival experience to end on a negative note, so please make arrangements for alternative transport. Check out some options below.

 

MARTA

 

The two closest MARTA stations to the Old Fourth Ward Park are Inman Park on the blue/green line and North Avenue on the red/gold line. We suggest taking the North Avenue exit out of the North Avenue MARTA station and turn left on North Avenue and walk about 10 minutes to see the parade and 30 minutes to the park entrance.

 

Bus 2 departs from the North Avenue and Decatur Stations and bus 102 departs from North Avenue and Candler Park and travels along Ponce de Leon Avenue.  Exit the bus at the intersection of Ponce and Glen Iris (Cactus Car Wash on the corner) and walk south on Glen Iris (you can only walk south at this intersection).  At the first stoplight, cross over North Avenue then turn left on North Avenue to reach the park.  Walking time is less than 10 minutes.

 

You can also board bus 16 at Five Points or along N. Highland Avenue. Exit the bus at Amli Parkside, an apartment community on Ralph McGill Avenue, just after the bus crosses over Glen Iris Drive. Next to and behind the apartments is the park.

By Car

 

For those of you who are unable to use alternative transportation, directions to the park are:

Take 75 North to Freedom Parkway, Exit Freedom Parkway to Boulevard. Make a left on Boulevard and continue down to North Ave. Make a right on North Ave. The park will be located approximately 0.8 miles on the right next to the Masquerade Event Center and accross from Ponce City Market.

 

We advise parking at the parking garages downtown and utilizing the street cars, Marta, Uber and shuttles. Please place all parking reciepts face up on the dashboard of your car to avoid being booted or towed. Patrons are asked not to park at Ponce City Market or in the Kroger plaza to avoid your cars being booted or towed at your expense.
